La transferencia del conocimiento matemático en la era de la IA: un estudio sobre el aprendizaje ubicuo y la pérdida de contextualización en estudiantes de bachillerato

Los diversos avances educativos han tenido un gran avance en la actualidad, sobre todo en el modelo de lenguaje y en los sistemas de tutorías inteligentes que han permitido el desarrollo de escenarios de aprendizaje ubicuos en las matemáticas. Desde otra perspectiva, es importante reconocer que la automatización del uso de la inteligencia artificial ha generado un fenómeno importante de identificación: los estudiantes son capaces de resolver operaciones complejas de manera instantánea, pero no desarrollan conocimientos sólidos en la comprensión del significado conceptual y en la resolución de problemas del entorno real. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar la incidencia del uso de herramientas de IA en entornos de aprendizaje ubicuo sobre la capacidad de transferencia de conocimientos matemáticos en estudiantes de bachillerato. Bajo un enfoque cuantitativo de paradigma positivista se analizó una muestra de 73 estudiantes de primero, segundo y tercer año de Bachillerato General Unificado en Quito-Ecuador. La recopilación de la información se dio a través de cuestionarios sobre el uso de la IA y el aprendizaje ubicuo (escala Likert, α = 0.88) y una prueba de transferencia matemática (KR-20 = 0,84) que permitió analizar el proceso de resolución algorítmica, la transferencia de conocimientos y los problemas del entorno real sin una mediación tecnológica. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron cuantificar cómo la descarga de conocimiento que no está regulada reduce el esfuerzo analítico, generando una afectación en la producción de esquemas conceptuales en la memoria a largo plazo y, por ende, condicionando el desarrollo crítico de los estudiantes ante situaciones de su entorno real. Se puede concluir que utilizar la IA es importante siempre y cuando se encuentre guiada por una mediación pedagógica que permita equilibrar el proceso metacognitivo y el desequilibrio del aprendizaje para evitar una dependencia tecnológica y, por ende, garantizar el aprendizaje significativo en las matemáticas.
