Robótica Educativa mediada por entornos digitales y su contribución al desarrollo del pensamiento computacional y las habilidades stem en estudiantes de básica superior: una revisión sistemática de literatura

Resumen

La robótica educativa se ha incorporado a los sistemas escolares como un recurso para articular programación, resolución de problemas y aprendizajes STEM. El objetivo de esta revisión fue analizar la evidencia publicada entre enero de 2021 y julio de 2026 sobre la robótica educativa mediada por entornos digitales y su relación con el pensamiento computacional y las habilidades STEM en estudiantes de básica superior o niveles equivalentes. Se siguieron las orientaciones PRISMA 2020 y se consultaron Scopus, ERIC, IEEE Xplore, SciELO y Redalyc. Se identificaron 297 registros; tras eliminar 92 duplicados, se cribaron 205 estudios. Se buscaron 50 textos completos, se recuperaron 25 y se incluyeron 14. La calidad metodológica se examinó mediante MMAT 2018. Diez estudios utilizaron robots físicos y cuatro entornos virtuales. Los resultados favorables se concentraron en secuenciación, bucles, condicionales, descomposición, abstracción, depuración, lógica de programación y resolución de problemas. También se reportaron creatividad, colaboración, razonamiento espacial, metacognición e interés STEM, aunque estas variables fueron medidas de forma heterogénea. Las principales limitaciones fueron muestras pequeñas, diseños no aleatorizados, intervenciones breves, autoinforme, fallos técnicos y disponibilidad limitada de equipos. No se identificaron estudios ecuatorianos elegibles. Se concluye que la contribución de la robótica depende menos del dispositivo aislado que de la estrategia pedagógica, la programación activa, la retroalimentación y la evaluación de procesos.
